This will be an active, hands-on class ad­dress­ing basic spinal bi­o­me­cha­nics and associated soft tissue strain patterns to release the spine at core levels. Structural strategies, palpation and assessment skills, and joint and my­o­fas­cial mobilization techniques will be covered. Joint play, end range and leverage concepts will also be covered. Associated craniosacral and visceral anatomy will be dis­cussed. This class will com­pli­ment a massage therapist's current skills and offer new ways of helping clients with back pain.
